The Waste Transformers are the winners of the 2017 SHARE AWARD! Theme of the 2017 SHARE AWARDS are: “Building the Circular Economy – Dream, Dare, Do it”. The Waste Transformers have pioneered the creation of decentralised energy and nutrient hubs that allow waste to be processed on-site – where that waste is produced – and for the value to be recovered from that waste and returned to the same site. In their report, the jury cited as reasons for choosing The Waste Transformers as the winner, the fact that we have made huge strides in a short space of time, that we are going for world-wide positive impact, and the fact that we have created a local export product ready to take on the world.
